Welcome to the Science Outreach programme. Whether you are a pupil, teacher, mature student, parent or carer, you will find something of interest for you here.

We seek to foster an interest in science in people of all ages and above all, to show that science is fun. Why not join in some of our activities and see for yourself?

Our programme of activities has been designed in conjunction with teachers and learners to ensure that each activity enriches study based on the National Curriculum, including the new Diploma.

We are constantly developing new resources for visitors to our campus, and for use in local schools and colleges. Our aim is to encourage collaboration between schools and colleges, and our internationally renowned departments within the Faculty of Science, and to encourage students of all ages to follow their interest in science.
