The site is 'Surrey car share', is it only for people
living in Surrey?
No, the site is part of a national network called liftshare.com.
You can register wherever you live.
What personal details are shown to other users?
The following details are the only ones shown to other users:
name, street on which your journey begins, gender, age range and
if you are a smoker.
How do I share only with staff and students from RHUL?
When you register a journey you're given the option of showing
your journey only to the Royal Holloway group or with a wider
county or national network. If you choose the Royal Holloway group
your journey will only be available to people who have registered
with a Royal Holloway email address. However, widening your search
means that you'll have more chance of a match.
Can I choose to car share with only males/females?
Yes, you can also request to share with smokers or non-smokers.
Do any other staff and students live near me?
Holloway staff and students live in Surrey, Berkshire, Greater
London and further afield. Have a look at the Staff
and Student map to see if there are many people from your
area.
