Cycling can be a quick way to get about in the local area and help keep you fit and healthy.
There are a quiet roads and dedicated cycle paths linking the College with local towns and villages such as Englefield Green, Egham, Staines, Windsor and Virginia Water. For people living locally the Windsor Great Park offers a traffic free environment to enjoy leisure cycling.
Surrey County Council produces a range of cycling maps and guides, which can be downloaded from their website.
The College offer parking spaces for over 600 bicycles at the main campus and Kingswood sites, many of which are covered. There are also showers for cyclists in the Sports Centre and Founder's East 127. Locations are shown in the cycle map of campus below. Royal Holloway's BUG meets twice a year to discuss how campus cycling facilities can be improved. The BUG is also consulted on new policies and projects which may affect cyclists.
