Royal Holloway Women’s Cross Country Team are currently ULU League leaders and with a fantastic result at the 5th League Race on Wednesday they look set to hold on to the title.
On Wednesday 27th January, The University of London's cross country runners descended upon Prospect Park in Reading, ready to renew battle in the London Colleges League following the Christmas break.
The women's race was won by Royal Holloway’s STARS student, Emily Moss in a dominant display which cemented her position at the top of the League's individual standings after 5 races.
Emily ran the four mile race with a time of 12.12, she was followed closely behind by team mate Felicity Elliot who came in 8th position and a time of 14.22, Felicity is currently ranked second in the league overall standings.
Royal Holloway performed well at the race and with three of their runners finishing in the top 20 on Wednesday and the team standings after five races it looks like the women’s cross country team are set for a very successful season.
